Naomi Nicolette’s 3rd Birthday

One week before her birthday we were already exited preparing for it. A credit to her mom to finance everything. My mother already asking me what she’s going to cook. Since Naomi Nicolette doesn’t like to eat spaghetti and her cousin Miguel we decide to prepare 1kl of spaghetti and 1kl of her favorite pancit . Every time my mother went to Sta Cruz and when she come back Naomi always asking (Nanay asan ang cake ko?) Mother where is my cake? So we decided to order a cake with the design of Dora the Explorer, her favorite cartoon character.

I request an off for her birthday, when I got home from work I decided to get the ordered cake and bring it home. When Naomi saw me carrying a big box she already shouting (Ang cake ko! Ang cake ko!) my cake! My cake! She was so excited to open the box and blow the candle.

The day of her birthday, rain pours like a blessing. I thought classes will be suspended but there are three little girl decided to go to school. In a cold weather Naomi ask my mother to bathe her and prepare her for school. I accompany her in school and witnessed what she’s doing in their class. Since its raining the class dismiss early and we invited her classmate to celebrate her birthday.
Everyone were so excited as if there will be a big party, everyone wear one shirt one heart for Naomi as their birthday present….

Team One Shirt One Heart Did Maktrav Last June 5, 2011

Last Sunday, June 5, 2011, Team One Shirt One Heart did a 10-hours Makiling Traverse via Sto. Tomas, Batangas to Los Banos, Laguna. Morena Liwag was not able to come because she came home to visit Naomi. The members composed of Myself (Tristan Firmalino, GMT, ECOF), Trail Running Mistress (Julienne Picato, ECOF), Jovial Wanderer (Christine Fernandez, ECOF), Ceejay Custodio and (Founder, Green Mountain Tribe).
